I've only started really watching Gumball recently and man do I wish I watched this from the beginning when I was a kid. I was, and still very much am, a kid who can relate to Gumball Watterson (he's my favorite animated protagonist) and I can only imagine how amazing it would have been to watch this from 2012 - 2019. One episode I did watch as a kid and I got to recently in my watchings was this one, the Choices, and...words can't describe the profound impact it had on me. Sure I wish I could have started watching Gumball from the early days but considering how many beautiful things have already happened in my life, Nicole saying "I wouldn't change a thing" really spoke to me. Gumball hits different than other animated sitcoms, not because of it's unique animation style, it's wacky but always funny sense of humor, it's because at the end of the day it's not only funny but emotionally investing for me.
